3rd Demo

I’ve just done my third demo for the company, which is excellent.

The first demo: the guy was completely window shopping. He was just nice enough to hop on a demo when I spoke to him and was open to the conversation. The second one is just never going to happen. We’ve got to tender in a quite a corporate company, and we don’t even have our ISO or SOC 2 yet, so we won’t make it through that one.

This one was actually great. They need exactly what the part of our product offers. It might be a really long-drawn-out sale to get the second part, but at least we can get started now with a trial and hopefully show some value to investors.

I just need to get three or four people like this onto a proof of value every month. I might get to keep my job at the end of six months if I do, which is always great.

Now I have to actually make some sales follow-up material to send over to him so that the prospect thinks that we’re a real company selling a real product. Then I have to get back on the phones all afternoon and make another 200 calls. Yay me
